Maerogel

GKSB has developed an indigenous technology in synthesis and preparation of Maerogel (Malaysia Aerogel from rice husk), zeolites, and functionalized nanostructured materials. Our products are less harmful to the environment but exhibit with similar or improved performance. GKSB focuses it's research on zeolites and nanostructured materials but also in the pursuit of development and commercialization. Zeolites, nano-structured, and nano-materials are based on silica obtained from rice husk ash or amorphous silica and our main innovative product is Maerogel or Malaysian Silica Aerogel
